What we are able to see of any artistic endeavor, be it a poem, a play, a podcast, a symphony, or a sculpture, represents only a tiny percentage of the process that went into producing it. As someone who has been involved in both the performing and the visual arts, this is something I know very well. In fact, the countless hours of rehearsal and studio work are what make the finished product so satisfying.
