Many Mosaics

I thought I should post some mosaics I've made over the past couple years. Here's a video of some of the coaster sets that I sold and are now being enjoyed by people all over the country!
You may know that I'm very inspired by the mid-century modern design aesthetic. In fact, many of my color palettes for coasters were inspired by textiles by the artist Alexander Girard. But this set was inspired by colors used in the iconic Atomic Clock. I love this particular design for the way the colors can be rearranged. The pattern itself was inspired by Alexander Girard's "Large Rectangles" design.
I also created a couple sets to remember the suffering and resilience of the Palestinian people. These are also dwelling in the homes of sympathetic humans. I had no idea how many designs the Palestinian flag would create when arranged in different ways - check out the seven ones I discovered - there may be more! In case you're wondering: each set takes at least 20 hours to make.
